Taking care of people, you know, like helping others. I just always wanted to be in some sort of a service kind of setup. And like, meeting people and like, you know, serving their needs is what motivated me to the field.
I actually had my schooling, like the dental school, in India originally and then I moved here in 90. I went to school in San Francisco, finished my schooling there in 94, and then moved to Dallas because my husband was here.
I graduated dental school in 2004 and won the Fellowship of Academy of General Dentistry. Did ortho training also, so currently I am treating patients with braces also.
You know, I loved science, you know, in school, so as far as like, profession that was available where I could balance family and the profession, I find that dentistry's the kind of rewarding in that respect.
